The mentors training was a workshop held for new young, able, enthusiastic youth women between the ages of 20-35 years who were identified and willing to become grass root mentors to girls between the ages of 10-19 years old within their communities.  The training saw 10 mentors selected from Thika receive the training.

The training aimed at equipping these mentors with skills on reproductive health, life and savings skills needed in mentoring the young adolescent and youth girls.
